A 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS. with 305 High-Output V8 engine, positron transmission, has 63,856 original miles, has been garage kept all winter. It has no rust on the body, with only minimal dings and bruises on the doors and bumper, but no major dents. The paint job is the original and is sunchecked but still shines after a good wax job. The car looks sweet at night! The interior is clean with slight fading from the sun and has a small rip on the driver's seat but looks great. The dashboard has a few cracks but is not bad overall. There is no rust underneath the car or on the floorboards. The metal alloys of the wheels are in excellent shape. Monte was running fine until about 3 months ago when I went to give it its weekly start-up in the garage and all I could hear was a clicking noise. My guesstimate is that it could be the starter or a computer malfunction. I have a receipt from a $2,500 tune-up from a local Chevrolet dealer after I bought the car in 2009. The tune up included new brakepads, new shocks, engine tune-up, and new pinions installed in the door so there is no overhang on them, and other adjustments to get it up to code. The vehicle passed NY state inspection. I am the second owner of the vehicle which I purchased from a private owner in Richmond, Virginia. The car sold brand new at Southern Chevrolet & Cadillac of Petersburg, Va. back in 1987 with 20 miles on the odometer.
