Hello. I have a southern 1993 GMC Vandura 2500 with 154378 actual miles on the motor. Van was bought in TN 4 years ago and brought to NY 2 years ago. Rust is a very minumum on this!The rebuilt transmission has about 30,000 on it. It has new tires this year. Brakes done within the year. New water pump and gaskets. New thermostat and gasket. New alternator. New serpentine belt. New fuel pump/sending unit and filter. New radiator hoses. Has recently had a flush n fill. Has new shocks, new heater blower motor and cage.. This vehicle has been well maintained mechanically. Very dependable running vehicle. The down sides are, the garage did not properly fill the front tires and they were ran low, so they have some wear. The front bumper has been bent from pushing a vehicle helping someone out this winter, small dent in rear corner, one back door has dent from backing into a trailer tongue. Drivers seat slightly ripped but not bad, and it does need a new muffler.I did not replace it yet as it passed inspection with out it in November. I think it could use a new battery? Sometimes wont start. But when jump started, we can turn it off and restart? Has a rease hitch for towing trailers with a three way ball and four prong wire harnes. Has a electric third brake. Not sure if that works? Never used it. I have recently dollied a vehicle as well as tow one on a trailer for a three hour ride. Pulls great! There is a lot of life left in this vehicle. It has 4 captains seats and a rear bench that folds down into a bed. Has privacy curtains. Interior lights and tube lights. Has a place to plug into for electric at a campground. This system does work. Has outlets inside for appliances or heater. Has cupbourds above for storing things along with a coat rack. The TV was dead when we bought the vehicle, so it does not have one. It does have hook ups for 12V, or lighter jacks or the 110V hook ups.We got a newer vehicle and a vehicle to toy with. So we must let this one go. I would go anywheres with this thing! Handles good for a big van and has decent acceleration! Will make a good daily driver or second vehicle! Will tow smaller trailers without a issue! When I towed the last car on a trailer, it was 6,000 lbs behind the van and it did not bog it down! We drove 70 the hole way on the thruway without issues!That was a 6 hour round trip again without issues with 6,000 lbs behind it!
