Mileages are for work performed after 23,000 miles and includes work done by previous owner and myself. Work performed before 23,000 miles, is unknown, however any BMW motorcycle dealer should have records of service done by them, by giving them the VIN#. This bike has no heated grips, but they can be added simply by installation of the grips and switch (bought seperately used or new). The wiring harness will plug right into the bikes wiring without modifications, and is a simple plug-n-play operation.On Mar-14-11 at 11:22:23 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike came originally colored Alpine White. The original plastic fuel tank has been replaced from a later model bike with a steel unit. These bikes originally came with plastic tanks that were prone to bubbling. The tank was never painted to match the body color of the bike.
