This is a car that I had big dreams for but I realized that I do not have the time. This is a 1978 Datsun that was built for a sbc engine. I bought it with a 350, but pulled it out and built a 400 sbc and dropped it in. I recently sold the engine and transmission, so I have decided to try and get rid of the body. When I bought it, the guy was going to gut it and turn into a drag car. I saved it just in time. I wanted to convert the interior to black which was the color of my other two z's. I have everything needed to do that other than the seats and door panels. I have all of the pillar pieces, headliner, carpet, and the other odds and ins pieces. I have a set of front fenders that will go with it along with the v8 conversion headers. I have two boxes filled past the top that will go with this car. I also put a full set of autometer gauges in the car. I built them inside of the stock gauges. These will not go with the sale of the vehicle but will be sold in a separate auction. There are a few rust spots on the car. I took it to the body shop when I had it running to see what was ahead of me and was told by them that it would be no biggie to fix it. You can see in the pics the spots. I do have a clear title for this car, so there will be no problems there. There is no engine or transmission included with the sale of this car. I was running an automatic, but was in the process of converting to a standard. I put the clutch pedal in it and needed to buy the master cylinder. I actually realized in all of this that it was stock with a standard.
