1997 Isuzu Trooper LS Great condition (other than transmission, see below), with low 101,098 miles. This SUV has had only two owners (both in Southern California) and has never seen snow. The title is clean, no liens and it's never been in an accident. We've owned this SUV for about two years, and just spent $850 on a timing belt and waterpump. And then the transmission blew. So this is your chance to pickup a great deal. This car comes equipped with: - Power Locks - Power Windows - Cruise Control - Huge Cargo Space - 4 Wheel Drive (4X4), Automatic. - 3.2 Liter, V-6 engine - Dual Airbags - CD/AM-FM player Unfortunately, as mentioned, right after we made the above repairs, the transmission blew. So though the vehicle still drives, unless you are only taking it a mile or two, you will probably want/need to tow it. The transmission either needs to be refurbished or a brand new one put in. I've searched for prices and it's not that expensive: I saw a refurbished transmission on ebay for about $500, plus maybe $500 for labor (according to a mechanic friend). Total maybe $1,000 if you know a mechanic. These are just my estimates though, and I’m not a mechanic. It might be more if you pay full retail price. PLEASE NOTE: THIS VEHICLE WILL LIKELY NEED TO BE TOWED (vehicle is in Thousand Oaks, California). Though it still drives, it will likely die at any time. According to the Kelley Blue Book site (kbb.com), if the transmission were repaired, the private-party car value is worth over $4,000 (I'd give the condition as "Good" to "Excellent", with a repaired transmission.) The inside of this vehicle is fairly clean and neat, and the outside looks great (see pictures). If you can fix cars or know someone who can, then this is a great deal. It would also be great for parts. Overall, it's been a great SUV and ran very smooth for us for the two years that we owned it. And we did regular maintenance, oil changes, etc. Paypal only transactions, and payment must be made 72 hours after auction has closed.
