Vehicle Detail
This is a beautiful Jeep Grand Wagoneer. The interior has been restored and is in awesome condition. The seats are clean and all the power seats and windows work. The shag carpeting was removed for rubber liner, which makes clean up and maintenance way easier. Only issue is some cracking on top of the dash. Aftermarket stereo with C/D Player and Ipod hook up. Only thing that doesn't work is the Cruise Control. It just isn't hooked up. Mechanical: The engine and transmission are rebuilt with about 10,000 miles on them. It's the AMC 360 V8 Engine. Lots of power, Loads of Torque. Transmission shifts smooth. This vehicle has been my daily driver, and it has never let me down. I have made two 1200 mile trips in it, without a problem. It is a strong runner. 4WD works good, however it is a vacuum actuated system and the vacuum acuator on the transfer case went bad. I removed it and plugged the lines, and plan on replaceing it first part of next week. Until then 4WD can't be activated. You can lock the hubs and watch the drive shaft spin, no grinding or anything crazy from the transfer case. It was rebuilt during the overhaul this vehicle had about 10,000 miles ago. Cosmetic: There are two minor rust spots on the BODY. The frame is clean, and straight, with 0 rust. 0! The body has a dent in the left rear fender with a little rust on it. Nothing serious. There is also a small spot of rust on the front corner panel. Just a small spot. I'll get pictures of the defects up soon. The wood panelling still looks glorious, but is starting to fade, and has chipped in a few places (the vinyl stickers). The paint is in great shape and looks fantastic. It is navy blue with the wood panels. Aftermarket: It has a 4" suspension lift, professionally installed, and 31" by 10.50 Pro Comp all terrain tires. It looks good! A huge improvement over the stock low-rider look. Also it has the Warn Manual Locking Hubs. This allows you to disconnect your front hubs, saving you some precious gas. Also has a tow hitch on the frame with working lights and adapter.
