1976 standard Volkswagen Beetle.  Topaz Metallic L99D.  Original paint car.  On the road for less than nine years (last Pennsylvania inspection sticker dated 1985 with matching PA license plate).  104,000 miles.  Four speed manual transmission.  Very nice straight forward project car.   All body panels are in very good condition with no rust and very straight.  Spare tire well is nice.  Oddly it is the bottom left side that has some rust issues.  Left front floor pan, left rocker top & bottom and left axle beam upright will all need attention.  See photos.  Right side looks good.  Right door closes perfectly, left door needs adjustment.   Both door bottoms are good.  No cracks in the dash.  Wiring looks unmolested.   Original fuel injected engine is tight. Engine #: AJ081358.  Condition unknown but we assume it dropped a valve that is the reason it was taken off the road in 1985.  Original interior is quite nice.  No major issues.  One cut in headliner above right door.  Original seats look fine as do the door panels (needs door pulls).  Seat padding is a bit “crunchy”.  Glass is all very nice.  Five factory 4.5x15” sport rims date stamped 2/76 (January 1976).  Original am/fm radio.   Valid and clear Pennsylvania title.
