Up for bid is a 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7. This is a really nice driving car. It is easy to hop in, fire up, and cruise around. It is a 351W Automatic car. It has a number of options on it. Power disk brakes, power steering, tilt steering, 9" rear end, air conditioning (compressor and idler pulleys are gone I think that is all you need to get it working). Undercarriage of the car is very solid. Floor pans and torque boxes are solid. Both quarters have some rust issues. The doors appear to be rust free as do the front fenders. Hood is in good shape. Hood scoop is a Boss 429 replica. Grille is in pretty good shape with only minor pitting. Taillight panel has some minor damage where it looks like it was backed into. You can’t see this damage from outside the car unless you are right on top of it. The front seats are out of a 94 Mustang. The door panels are showing some wear, but with a little elbow grease and some vinyl dye, you could make them look nice again. Drivers door panel has a small rectangle at the bottom of it that has been patched. The dash has a good wiring harness in it. I put it in myself. All the courtesy lights work. The switches for the courtesy lights on the dash work. Dash pad has a large crack in the top of the passenger side. Clock does not work.
