Vehicle Detail
1999 A8 Quattro All Wheel Drive with Tiptronic (automatic with manual shift override). I am the second owner, bought in 2002. Car was my daily driver, non-smoker, never wrecked, and is in decent shape for its age, with under 12k miles per year average. White pearl exterior with light tan interior. I bought a newer model, so selling this one. The Good Space Age Aluminum frame and body (no rust, none, ever) Non-Smoker vehicle,Never been wrecked, Always garaged. Best exterior color, triple coat pearl Less than 12k miles per year Engine runs good and smooth Tiptronic Transmission filter, flush, and fluid (Audi OEM @ $40/qt) at 123k miles, still shifts strong New valve cover gaskets last year Cold weather package (front and rear heated seats, heated steering wheel, but drivers heat is not working) Dual Zone Climate control that works great (replaced blower and cabin filters at 110k miles) Near new Goodyear Assurance all weather tires with lots of tread left, good winter traction No rips or tears in the seats, 2 person driver memory seat. carpet in good shape also, no headliner issues Rear window power visor shade, rear door passenger window shades Factory Sunroof with solar powered circulating fan (cooler in the summer, runs with the car off exchanging outside air) Factory Bose Concert stereo with 6 disk CD changer New Brake Rotors at 110k miles, New Battery 3 months ago, First Aid Kit and Warning Triangle still with the car Both laser cut keys with keyless entry and alarm The Rest Damage to front bumper from falling garage objects (is repairable though) Center armrests gone (bad design, they break on all these cars) Check Engine light sometimes comes on (need to replace O2 sensor again) Brake pads getting worn (saw the brake pad sign and warning lights once this week, they reset when I restarted the car and haven't come back on yet) Valve cover gaskets starting to leak again (used to get 2 years on a set) Exhaust is stainless, but couplings are not and one coupling is starting to leak, exhaust still sounds ok, but a little throaty instead of perfectly quiet. If my boys were still in school, I would have completed the service and given this car to one of them. Always starts, runs smooth, plenty of power and the toys work. I am not putting a reserve on this and am starting out low. Always garaged and don't want it sitting in the driveway.
