Up for sale is a 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Station Wagon with a 305 V8. The car runs good and drives well, and has roughly 145K miles on her. The vehicle has good brakes, good tires, and all the lights work. The automatic transmission works smooth, and the car has plenty of power. A $400 class 2 Curt hitch was recently installed on this wagon by a professional shop, so it works great pulling trailers. The wagon is wired with a 4-pin connector. Vehicle has new brand new alternator and battery. Recently had some brake work, fresh oil change, and a tuneup. The exhaust is in good shape, with only a small leak that I never felt needed fixing. Interior is decent for the age, but the headliner needs to be replaced. The car needs to have someone look at the electrical system. Despite a new alternator and battery, occasionally the car gets a dead battery. Maybe something drawing power when the car is off? I am not mechanically inclined, so I am not sure. Probably something simple, I just don't have the time to have it looked at. I did replace the battery terminals that had corrosion, so maybe that was the problem?
