GREAT RISK/REWARD VEHICLE!! We repossessed this 1999 Chevy Tahoe for a client and don't know much about it so I've set the reserve to match my lack of information. What I do know: The title is free and clear, but is a salvage title because the company we took it from was an auto repair shop and they built the Tahoe out of two different vehicles (see picture of title). It was the owners personal vehicle and is very clean with an an insane custom paint job as you can see. It has electric seats, windows, locks, mirrors and everything else you would expect in a Tahoe. Comes with an Alpine Stereo with Alpine amplifier under the back seat. Engine is the 5.7 Vortec 8 cylinder. Engine starts and purrs like a kitten. It has an aftermarket hood scoop, an oversize muffler, and I assume an upgraded exhaust system. The tires are 325/50R20 on 20 inch rims. Everything I tried works, including engine, transmission, lights, wipers, stereo, seats, windows, doors and mirrors. Drives nice, but I have only driven it about 5 miles so I've never had it on the highway or above 60 miles an hour for that matter. Now for what I don't know. Its been sitting in our parking lot for a week and hasn't leaked anything, but I make no guarantees because I just don't know. Also, it has a front drive train and 4WD buttons, but I have not put it in 4WD and don't know if it works. Same with the engine and transmission. Again, I only drove it about 5 miles and it shifted and drove fine, but I didn't take it across country so I don't know anything about the condition of the engine or transmission. Keeping in mind that this was the owner's personal vehicle, I assume everything is top notch, but you are definitely buying this car AS IS, which is why I've got the reserve low enough that if you win it, the rims and tires alone will pay for the rest of the vehicle, not to mention if the truck is in as good a shape as I think it is, it will truly be a steal. I don't want it, don't have time to deal with it, and my loss is your gain. If you have questions regarding anything I can answer (don't ask me stuff I can't figure out with a naked eye) I'm happy to answer them at srestum@yahoo.com. Good luck and happy bidding.
