1968 Oldsmobile Supreme Convertible Police Seized This 1968 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible was seized during a criminal investigation and awarded by the Courts. This auction is being conducted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office in Birmingham, AL. Please see photographs. We do have additional photos we can email upon request. Please read listing and observe all photos as we try to describe all known defects. Vehicle is being auctioned as it with no warranty implied or given and per Court Order. WE CAN NOT SELL OUTRIGHT so PLEASE DO NOT ASK. We will auction to international buyer, but international buyer must pay all fees, custom charges, shipping, taxes, etc. and must arrange own shipping etc. Title: In Alabama titles were not issued prior to 1976. You will receive a Bill of Sale on our letterhead and it will provide court case number where vehicle was awarded. Vehicle is also registered in the State of Alabama to the Jefferson Co Sheriff's Office. This vehicle was purchased in Florida from Chandler Classic Cars and it was listed as a "Show Collection" by the person vehicle was seized from in 2008. We seized the vehicle in 2008 and it has been stored indoors pending outcome of court case. Vehicle is in excellent condition. Please review below for all features. Original Rims and Tires were removed by Criminal we seized from. He had 22 " rims put on. However, we seized shortly after he had them installed so no damage caused by them. The original Rim & Tire (SPARE) in trunk. We do not have the ones he had taken off. However, you should be able to sell those 22 for high dollar and purchase replacements. TITLE HISTORY? We have copy of original Title from Florida and Bill of Sale where it was sold to Criminal seized from. Alabama does not issue Titles to vehicles prior to 1976. We do have registration where we registered vehicle in Alabama and it is registered to Jefferson County Sheriff's office. Court Order awarding vehicle to us (Jefferson Co Sheriff's Office) so no problem with transfer of vehicle.
