I am the second owner of a dark silver metallic (a $400.00 upgrade) 04 Mini Cooper 4 cylinder S with 75,XXX miles on it. This car is incredibly practical for weaving through traffic and creating parking spaces where others will not fit. It is fantastic in all of the areas I was looking for when I purchased it: safety, reliability, practicality and size. Moreover, it gets 27 miles per gallon around town and 35 on the freeway, a huge benefit as gas prices rise. When I bought it, I initially considered getting a newer Mini Cooper, but mechanically and electrically Consumer Reports rated the 04 model better than the newer ones at that time (2009). This car looks fantastic, is in excellent condition and needs nothing. It has a clean Car Fax, and has never had any paint or body work done on it. Its engine compartment is clean, with no fluid leaks whatsoever. This supercharged Mini Cooper contains the Sport Package, 17" rims, 6 speed manual transmission, A/C, power steering, power windows, power door locks, tile steering wheel, cruise control, AM/FM stereo, CD player, dual front and side airbags, ABS, Panther Black Gravity Leather interior (a $1300.00 upgrade), sliding sunroof, moon roof (rear), rear spoiler. Additionally, it has Combo #1 - Premium - Multifunction steering wheel w/ cruise and audio controls, dual pane panoramic sunroof, automatic A/C and on-board computer. Combo # 2 Sport - Dynamic Stability Control (DSC), sport seats, front fog lamps, rear spoiler, 17" alloy wheels, 205/45R-17 Performance run-flat tires, Xenon headlamps w/headlamp power wash, rain sensing windshield wipers and auto dimming rear view mirror. Combo #3 - heated washer jets, heated mirrors, and heated seats. I just had the brake pads and rotors replaced by the dealer.
