1974 Honda CB

A very nice low mileage bike all original except the mufflers. It comes with period hard bags and windshield,crash bar and spotlights and original tool kit, the paint is in excellent condition with no dents in tank just light marks here and there reflecting its age. Chrome is not perfect but very good with again light marks and slight pitting from age,(mostly the rear wheel rim) the front fender has a slight kink in it (just before the forks)but is hardly noticeable. The frame around the hard bags is rusty and flaking in places and is the only major flaw with this bikes condition (see pictures), tires are still good with no side wall cracking. This bike runs and shifts fine but has a hesitation above 50 mph,( like fuel starvation) I cleaned gas tank and fuel petcock, replaced fuel lines and installed a new battery ( the carbs might have to be gone through).The solenoid to the starter sticks when cold (you can bridge with a screwdriver and it turns starter over) all lights and signals work, the horn being the exception. I bought this bike from a friend who owned it from new and used it sparingly, I had planned to bring it to Florida as a run around but it is too nice a vintage bike to waste for that. Please ask any questions about the bike before bidding, this is a 1974 bike and although in great condition for its age is not perfect.This bike is in Central Florida near Ocala for pick up.
