1999 Ford F250 Powerstroke Diesel!!! Up for sale is a 1999 Ford F250 Super Cab POWERSTROKE diesel truck. This truck is not the cheap xl model but it is the XLT model with power mirrors, windows, locks, cd, buckets seats etc... This truck has a heavy duty flatbed with a 5th wheel hook up as well. This truck has just had a lot of work done to it. The following has recently been completed: New rear tires X 4 - Cost $800 New Differential fluid - Cost $75 New Transmission Fluid + Filter - Cost $125 New Engine oil + Filter - Cost $75 New AC blower motor - Cost $75 New Fuel Filter - Cost $35 New AC Compressor - Cost $350 The engine was recently (about 1000 miles ago) completely removed and had a new oil pan gasket installed, a new engine oil dipstick gasket installed, new front and rear main seals, new oil cooler seals, and the engine was checked for any other issues. If you know anything about these trucks you know that these truck are known for these seal problems, but this engine is good to go. All of the work was preformed by Texas Diesel Soultions in Garland TX by a certified powerstroke mechanic. The cost of this job was $1500 The truck also has the following mods: AIH delete - Cost $20 CCV Mod - Cost $100 Muffler delete pipe from Pure Diesel Performance Cost $75 The truck runs fine and will make somebody a great work truck or an everyday truck with a little bit of work. The transmission shifts fine and the truck still has a lot of power. Here are some of the things that the truck still needs done to it to make it a good reliable daily driver: Needs a new windshiled - The current windshield is cracked. The dash is peeling a little bit (nothing a five dollar can of dash paint cant handle) Needs two front tires and an alignment Needs a set of glow plugs and a glow plug controller Flatbed could use a fresh coat of paint Small rip in drivers side seat ( nothing a seat cover could not fix ) That is all that I can think of. The truck is a good truck, and with a little tune up and polishing it will make somebody a great ride. The body has a few pings and dings but nothing serious, it has been a company truck. These trucks will last a million miles if you take care of them. The diesel engine is a big plus over gas. The truck also has a CD player that I forgot to mention.
