A winning bid is a LEGAL commitment to purchase this item and complete deal per the terms listed in ad......a winning bid does not mean that you get to come see the item, check it out, nit pick and negotiate a deal or decide if you really want the item or not......that is to be done BEFORE YOU BID!...Ask questions, come see item, have money in hand, have shipping quotes, read the entire ad and terms.....ALL BEFORE YOU BID! *************NO RESERVE = High bidder wins at the end of this auction, so bid on it to buy it!!******************* Trade in.....being sold just as it was traded, right off the streets. 1989 Jeep Wrangler with the "hard to kill - Iron Horse" 2.5L-4 cylinder engine, 4 speed manual transmission, power steering, full rollbar, Thule roof rack, Sony am-fm-cd stereo system (no speakers), removeable top, front high back bucket seats, rear bench seat, hardtop, etc....... According to previous owner, this Jeep has a recent BDS spring/shackle lift.....about 4 inches of lift. Also has recently new shocks all around, new radiator last year, new starter, 4-wheel drive actuator, 2 u-joints were replaced and has brand new front brakes and rotors. Stock steel wheels have fair tires with about 20% tread left. (Previous owner kept the mag wheels with the 33" M/T tires that were on it). Interior is fair with some wear in carpeting and tears in drivers seat but all in all good shape and very useable/comfortable and looks good. Passengers side wing window is missing but has been covered shut. All other glass is good. Body is pretty solid and in good overall shape for a 22 year old Jeep. Had minor touch up work/light repairs/bodywork done to drivers rocker panels, front fender edges/wheel well lips and drivers floor pan was repaired with metal. Kept after very well to prevent major rust, holes and kept after for nice appearnce and solid integrity. Underneath has been all wire brushed and coated/sealed/painted to keep super nice appearance and keep it protected.....looks super! Frame is solid with no issues found, no weak spots and no holes in frame. Solid spring hangers, floors and body mounts. Paint looks great from 20 feet but the red has some fading, scratches and minor blisters here and there and the black looks to be the same textured satin black "stone guard paint" that was used underneath but she has a great appearance and looks really tough.....we call it the "URBAN ASSAULT VEHICLE"!! Looks really, really neat and cool but not a show truck by any means. Great eye catching daily driver or gets alot of attention at off road events. Hard top is decent and in good shape but the back hatch is missing and has the rear piece from a soft top in its place. Serves the purpose just fine. Jeep starts right up and runs very well. Has no odd engine noises or smoke and it idles smooth and revs up very strong! Great sounding and powerful 4 cylinder. Clutch and transmission shift smooth and have no grinding or slipping. This Jeep drives, steers, brakes and handles.......like a Jeep.....NOT a cadillac!!......you Jeep folks know what I mean. Has its shares of rattles and squeaks over bumps, slight wandering and pulling at times but nothing bad at all or any different than any other 1989 Jeep. Handles pretty well overall and rides decent. ****This used Jeep was used as a daily driver and built for light off road use.....that is what it is! It is not a restored Barrett-Jackson show piece and it is NOT a new or perfect Jeep....it is a 22 year old Jeep.....thats it! It has nice appearance and runs/works good overall. Neat Jeep.....ready to drive, great daily driver or off road toy....or BOTH!
