Very nice 1963 Volvo 544. Runs like a top, shifts fine, is super dependable and even has a high gear rear end for freeway cruising! It trips people out when I pass them at 70 plus! This is truly one that can drive anywhere. It has no leaks, runs cool, has great oil pressure, new tires (with white port-a-walls), lights all work, good brakes, doesn't smoke and the gauges work fine.The picture of the under dash gauges is with the car idleing. When on the highway the oil pressure is above 65 pounds and solid.The paint is very presentable but not perfect. There is no rust and not even in the usual places. I've owned a few 544's and would put this one right up with the best as far as mechanical condition. The seats have been recovered over the years, but if you want to go all stock the materials are available. As a matter of fact all parts are readily available for these cars. Just Google antique/classic Volvo parts and you will see! Also look at the Volvo Club of America site by looking for VCOA. ( a great resource for parts, but actually you shouldn't need any except maybe tune up , hoses and belts over the years) I am supplying a bunch of pictures, but if there is something you want me to take a picture of, just let me know. I bought this car from a lady Dr. She drove it daily for years. She covered the front seats in cloth as "it feels better in the summer and winter".I am cutting my collection as I am now retired and keeping them all on the road is costly. Especially if you are a a car nut like me. The car is being sold as is. I also have it for sale locally so reserve the right to pull if someone local comes up with my price. The pictures that I published makes then look faded because of the sun. So I took some pictures in the shop to show they are very nice and no fading.
