1982 Mercedes 500SL Euro Model. This Car was imported in 1985 to California. To the best of my knowledge, it has been in La Jolla, CA since. This would have been my dream car to fix up, but I have been relocated for work and do not have the oppurtunity to spend any more time on it. The car runs strong and transmission shifts smoothly . However it does need the following: 1. Brake job 2. Electrical work (Battery Drains overnight while car is off) 3. Tune up 4. New interior (Currently there are cracks in the dash, tears in the seats, needs new carpet and needs a rear seat) 5. Paint is OK, but a collector might want to put a new one on. 6. Back registration- car has not been registered in a few years. 7. Some surface rust. No serious corrosion.
