1999 Volvo S80 Sedan in Birmingham Alabama USA CLEAN. Non-smoker. 2.9 Liter Fuel Injected V6 VIN YV1TS97D8X1019155 Green/Blue with Tan Leather Interior 113,000 miles This has been a daily driver for a little over four years. I picked it up in Texas from a dealership where the original owner had traded it in. I need a 4wd SUV so this has to go. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained. Synthetic oil every 5k. New brakes and front rotors @ 105k miles and new tires (rotated every 5k) @ 96k miles. The car has never been wrecked and drives terrific. The interior leather is still soft and comfortable. After enjoying this car for the last four years I understand why Volvo is considered so safe. It has more airbags than congress. Thankfully I haven't needed them but you definitely get a comfortable and secure feeling when driving. For a twelve year old vehicle it looks and drives great. That said, it is twelve years old and does show expected wear and tear and also has a few outstanding items. The brake booster has a small air leak. It's been there since I bought it. You can hear it when you release your foot off the brakes. Tap the brake again and it goes away. It's never been a problem so I've never addressed it. I've been told it can be manually replaced for a few hundred bucks and a few hours of labor. Also, the brights work fine when flashed but they don't "stay" when selected. I live in town and it's never been an issue as I really don't need them. No idea what's involved. Everything else on the vehicle works great. Sunroof. Windows. Stereo. Cruise. Etc. While it is a daily driver I have had the pleasure of driving it on a few road trips over the years to the Carolinas and to Florida and it is a comfortable quiet Interstate vehicle.
