1972 Chevelle Sport Coupe Project. The entire vehicle has been dissembled by retired mechanics. The frame has been sand blasted, strengthened (boxed in) and rust free undercoating by a local body shop ($1500). The spindles and upper control arms have been sand blasted and painted. New front and rear springs and gas shocks. New body mounts and entire suspension bushings. New upper and lower ball joints. The transmission is a turbo 400 3 speed automatic. The engine is a 454 fresh rebuild with large cam and lifters. The engine has been painted chevrolet orange and black. The rear end is a 10 bolt which has been sand blasted and painted. The engine comes with hugger headers which have been sand blasted and painted as well. New spark plugs and wires. New fly wheel and gaskets for the engine. The body is in great shape very straight no patch spots. The floor boards are cut out and have the front floor pans. The dash is in great shape. Painted and sand blasted drive shaft. I have all original interior parts. I have new fenders from Goodymart ($500). All that is need to complete the cars assembly is brake and fuel lines, body work (floor boards), head liner, front and rear seats and fuel tank. The front and rear bumpers are in great shape they just need to be re-dipped due to minor chrome chips. I have all bolts and nuts which are labeled from where they came from. This project has great potential with all parts for total assembly. I drove the car from the seller about two years ago and has been dissembled since then. The reason I am selling is because I dont have the time or money to complete due to buying a new farm.
