You are bidding on a like-new '04 Suzuki GSX-R 1000cc sport bike with less than 1,800 miles. This bike has had a total of two owners including myself. I purchased this bike from a friend at 750 miles. There are two small blemishes on the right fairing which were caused by the previous owner (see last picture). This bike is 99% stock. The only modification is a smoke windscreen. It hasn't been ridden aggressively as most of the rubber molding spikes are still on the original tires. It has always been covered and in a garage. There is absolutely no fading of the factory surfaces. The Oil has been changed once at 1,200 miles as recommended by the manufacturer. There are no mechanical defects on this bike. However, I would recommend this bike to be checked by a professional prior to being put into service as it has been out of service for over 2 years. The battery is in good condition, as it has been on a battery minder while it has been in storage. The bike starts up easily, runs perfectly, shifts smoothly, and of course its FAST! Also included in this auction are an Adult Size Black Helmet, after-market bike cover and the original rear hatch cover. I require $1,000 deposit within 24 hours of auction close, balance to be paid within 7 days of auction close. I will deliver the bike anywhere in the contiguous 48 states for $0.30/mile (figured one way as calculated by Google Maps [example: Garden City, KS to Boston, MA is 1,831 miles = $550 total delivery charge]).
