This great vehicle is offered by a private seller who is the second owner of the vehicle. The original owners were in-laws, so I (current owner) have all maintenance records on the vehicle and have been familiar with the vehicle since it was new. Vehicle has been serviced at regular / appropriate / suggested intervals, including all oil changes and maintenance (paperwork available for review). Exterior Condition: Re-painted approx. 3 yrs. ago., large ding on top of trunk (pictured -- the green specks in the photo are a reflection from trees and have nothing to do with the car or paint), small dent on hood at front section near grill (pictured). no significant scratches. Paint on bumpers peeling only along rubber trim which had been inadvertently painted 3 yrs. ago. Washed and waxed at regular bi-weekly intervals. Tires replaced at 125,000 mi (current milage: ~137,500). Front brakes replaced 5000 mi. ago, has new rear brakes. A/C and ABS not working. Non functioning ABS does not affect regular operation of brakes. Engine is stock and clean with no modifications other than replacement of timing belt at 100,000 mi and replacement of various radiator components. Runs very well and only premium gas has been used since original purchase in 1992 (for a V6 gets moderately good gas mileage). Interior Condition: Leather seats in front and rear are in good condition with no tears, driver's side seat shows some moderate wear but no tears. Interior door paneling is in good condition (few scratches, no tears) for all four doors. Steering wheel and front dash areas in original condition with very few scratches and no tears. Carpet underlayment is in very good condition, front and rear floor mats almost like new as they were replaced by second owner. Sunroof in good condition and functions. Has original radio with cassette which is functioning. Second owner added CD player, but the player does not currently function. From 1992 to 2000, original owners stored vehicle in garage, from 2000 to recently, vehicle has had car cover when stored outside (car cover disposed of recently due to extensive wear). We have received a few questions from interested bidders, so here are the answers we provided: We've had both the A/C and the ABS looked at multiple times. For the A/C, two different mechanics (one was a dealership) indicated it was the condenser unit which is in the interior of the vehicle within the dash area. The quote to fix the A/C is in the range of $700 to $900, with most of it going to labor due to the difficulty of getting to the condenser unit (the unit [part] itself is not that expensive, approx. $200). We did replace the AC lines 2 years ago in anticipation of repairing the AC, but we never went ahead with the complete repair. The ABS (Anti-Locking Brakes) is a secondary system, which only goes into action if the brake pedal (after engaging the primary system) is pushed hard and the tires start to skid. The pump is out that engages the ABS, and we understand this pump is in the rear of the vehicle. To rebuild, modify or replace the pump puts the repair in the range of $800 to $1000. With all of that said about the AC and the ABS, we've been driving this vehicle without either system for a few years, and the vehicle (if you can tolerate no AC) rides very smoothly and has no problems the running. Timing belt and water pump were replaced at approx. 95K miles. Transmission has no slippage. No other service lights are on and engine runs very well as it gets serviced at the proper intervals since the original purchase (have all maintenance records in a binder in the vehicle for viewing at any time). No leaks have been observed. On a full tank, depending on the mix of freeway and city driving, you can get in the range of 330 to 370 mi. Vehicle is being driven at least a few times per week, short distances with some freeway driving. The vehicle passed its latest smog inspection in Nov/Dec 2010 -- no problems.
