1994 Lincoln Mark VIII: This vehicle is in excellent condition - inside and out. I purchased the car from a Lincoln dealer after its original two year lease expired in 1996 with 30,600 miles so I am the second owner of this automobile. It is black with a black leather interior. Its current odometer reading is 139,000 miles. The body paint is excellent. There is a small 12" long area of rust on the driver's door where the paint has bubbled just above the door trim (see photo). All the side body chrome has been replaced over the past several years as well as the front headlights and their surrounding chrome. All four chrome Lincoln wheels were replaced in 2009 and are in excellent condition as are the tires. You can see from the photos that the interior of this car is in excellent condition. The leather and carpeting show very little wear. Mechanically, the only system currently needing service is the air bag due to a short circuit that the local Lincoln dealer has quoted $650.00 to repair. The car’s music system has a tape player rather than a CD player. The only collision the vehicle has been involved in was several years ago when a neighbor hit the driver side door while backing out of his driveway while the vehicle was temporarily parked on the street in front of my residence. The damage was completely repaired. The car has always been garaged at home at night and during the day at work since I have owned it. It has been serviced regularly by a Lincoln dealer (See Vehicle History Report). Since 2000, I have owned a Corvette as my second car. I drove the Corvette from April-Nov. and the Lincoln from Dec-March. I have averaged approximately 7,500 miles/year on the Lincoln. I have truly enjoyed this car. I have been proud of this car, and it has been fun to own and drive.
