Nice, '68 Highboy for sale. Has original 390 and 4 speed manual transmission with 4x4. The engine and transmission run very well. The body has a very small amount of rust behind the front tires on the outside of the fender and in front of the back tires, but not bad. There's also a small amount on the side of the bed where the paint has chipped off, but again nothing bad at all. The tailgate has a small dent on top of it that can be seen in the pics. A small cutout for a gooseneck hitch was made in the middle of the bed by the previous owner. The inside of the bed has some normal wear as you might expect from a 40+ year old truck. There is a CD player that was installed by the previous owner as well. The tires are Q78-16LT (approx. 34's) Super Swamper TSLs with about 80-90% tread. This truck runs great and I always get compliments when I take it out. It has a MONSTER granny gear and a ton of power. This truck has been babied and taken good care of. It also has a PTO winch, headers, and a brand new complete exhaust system with a single-out Magnaflow and 4" tip. It sounds really good but is not ridiculously loud...it sounds like it should. I would like to hang onto this truck forever but unfortunately need the money more than the truck right now. I will certainly regret selling this truck and 3/4 ton 60's era Highboys with 4wd and manual transmissions are getting harder and harder to come by. Most I've seen for sale are either junked or completely restored, not much in between. Look up the NADA values of this truck and you'll be surprised (as I was). Even comes with a gun rack!
