This is one of the cleanest, well taken care of 2005 STI’s you will find. I bought it new in October 2004. It has been my pride and joy and it shows. The body and paint are in excellent condition the interior is as close to perfect as you will find. It has always been garaged. Never smoked in. Never wrecked. Never raced. No rust. Adult owned as Im over 40. And with the exception of the first year and a half of ownership, has not been my daily driver. After the break-in period, Mobil 1 is the only oil used. At one point I was going to start doing some autocross but didn't want to change the suspension and ruin the ride quality so I left it alone. I just enjoy driving it on weekends around town/lake. The list of upgrades is as follows. I did the stage 2 upgrade in Jan 2005 once I had about 5k on it (Cobb turbo-back and access-port). I upgraded to stainless steel brake lines and silkolene fluid in the brakes, the transmission and differentials 2006. I also put Cobb anti sway bars with the adjustable end links in 2006 (which I have never adjusted or played with since its never been to the track). I also had the rubber bushings replaced with polyurethane bushings in the short throw shifter and the transmission mount in 2006. By March of 2006 I had put 26k on the car so decided to purchased another car as a daily driver. In the summer of 2008 I did the remaining performance upgrades listed below. The car had 37k miles at this time. All of the modifications as well as tuning was performed by team of professionals at Subaru of Plano who, in 2008, left to open Cobb tuning in Plano where I had a fresh tune done in the summer of 2010. In November 2008 I had new DBA 4000 front rotors installed and new Ferodo DS2500 pads put on with 41k on the car. I have Bridgestone Potenza RE-01 tires with about 60% tread. Those were installed January 2008 when the car had 37k on it. Here is the list of the 2008 performance mods. FP HTA Green turbo APS 525 Intercoolor APS cold air intake APS 3” turbo inlet pipe APS Blow off valve 850cc injectors Walbro fuel pump Engine mount upgrade Defi Gauges and pod Boost in lbs Oil pressure EGT Defi Control Unit Access Port 2 Because Im still on the stock block and heads, I was not going to venture into PSI/Horsepower numbers that would hurt the motor so we tuned it conservatively at 20psi boost which produced 358Whp 353Ft-lb. I have a 20PSI and a 17PSI map in the access-port. You can look at the pic of the last tuning we performed on the car and see its very usable power, lots of fun! The car is a rocket as it sits and I would have loved to see it perform on the track but I just cant afford to do it right (racing tires/brake pads, suspension, etc...) If you have any questions about the car, the work performed, who performed it just ask! I have all the documentation from all the upgrades since the car was new and the majority of the regular maintenance receipts as well. I did many of the oil changes myself. In total, I have invested about 13k in the car not including normal maintenance. Whoever buys this car is getting something special, I assure you. I had bought them a couple of months ago with some Subaru dollars I had and didn't install them. Also, I have a Sirius radio installed in the car. Its a portable unit that docks. You can see the dock in one of the pics attached on the passenger side. The Model is an S50. I also have the Home dock kit w/antenna and I will throw that in as well. Thanks
