Vehicle Detail
Up for bids is this 2002 harley davidson edition ford supercrew truck. Well I guess the pic tells the story. It was wrecked and either needs to be fixed or would make someone a good truck for parts. If you have a supercrew body and want to build a harley davidson clone this would be great to because everything is here. It has the supercharged 5.4 v8 in it with the original transmission and rear end. From what I have been told everything on this truck is a little more high performance than a normal ford crew cab. The interior is complete and still in nice shape. I had plans on rebuilding it but I am working on a fastback mustang and need to finish it before I get to deep into a project like this. I have cranked it up and it will run. Everything still appears to work on the dash. The air bags did not blow so they are still good. When I was trying to crank it the gas pedal throttle was stuck as if the gas pedal was down so we had to disconnect the cable in order to let it idle. It idled good and ran good. The transmission shifter will pull out of park when the truck is not cranked but once it is running it will not shift out of park so I am assuming it must have something to do with a sensor or the gas pedal throttle not working correctly. I see no reason why the transmission would be hurt however since I can't shift it out of park with it running I can't make any promises but it should be okay. It still has the sunfoof in it and it wasn't broken. I have 3 of the 4 harley davidson wheels and all 4 center caps. This was a fine truck before it was wrecked. It is what it is. It also has the cd changer in it. Looking under it the main frame damage that I can see is on the very front. Everything else looks okay but I am not an expert and it hasn't been put on a machine so that is only my opinion. I guess if you rebuild cars or have had any experience dealing with this you would have some idea if it could be fixed but I think it could be rebuilt. It would need a cab, front cap and some work on the front frame section. I think the bed could be fixed. It has a few cracks but they are small and I see no reason why it couldn't be fixed. Anyway I have described this about as I good as I can so if you have questions please ask. I am not trying to hide anything so don't assume something just ask. It has a salvage title. As for trades I am sure I will have someone wanting to trade me something so the only thing I would trade would be a 65-68 mustang fastback project. The truck is located in Jonesboro Louisiana. It will have to be picked up here. You will have to bring a trailer. It will roll but it won't drive. The only other thing is I borrowed the set of wheels and tires on it to roll it around from a friend of mine so the wheels and tires on it don't go with it so we will either have to put the 3 chrome wheels and the spare on it or you can bring a set to roll it on. If you have any other questions or need more pics just let me know. If you want to come look at it before bidding just let me know and we can set up a time for that also. I wil require full payment for this truck within seven days after the end of auction. I can store it as long as needed but it will need to be paid for. If you choose to pay with a cashiers check it will have to have time to clear the bank before I will release the truck. I am sorry to be like that but there is to much funny money floating around these days. I will also accept cash when the truck is picked up. Please do not bid on this truck if you don't have the money to pay for it or are not 100% sure you want it. Please do not waste my time.
