Thank you 1968 Camaro SS Up for auction is a very clean and extremely fast 1968 Chevy Camaro factory 350 SS. This is an original two owner California car built in Van Nuyes, CA that has never left the state. Always stored indoors so it's very solid and rust-free. I'd hate to see it go but currently have too many toys and need to make room for a 69 Charger I'm about to begin restoring. Where to begin, let me just start off by saying that this car is in excellent mechanical shape and can be driven anywhere. Starts up every time, doesn't overheat, and handles great at all speeds. The original 350 engine was blown by the previous owner. It now has a freshly built 305 that was dropped in about 6 months ago, (has less than 1000 miles on it) mild cam, electric choke edelbrock carb, performer RPM intake, long tube headers, dual exhaust with flowmasters, new radiator, battery, and the list goes on.. Car runs and sounds amazing. It's all backed up by a fresh 700R 4 speed auto trans that has less than 200 miles on it. Comes with a transferable warranty. Transmission has a shift kit and B&M Quick shifter. Rebuilt stock rear end with 3 73 gears. New drum brakes all around, car stops great. Suspension and steering is in great shape as well with no squeaks or rattles. New rear air adjustable shocks. Rally wheels and tires were replaced earlier this year and have very few miles them. As you can see from the pics the body is in excellent shape. All fenders, doors, trunk, and hood line up perfect. It has a two stage paint job that is a few years old but still looks very nice. Some minor chips in the front from normal driving but nothing noticeable. You can go through the entire body with a magnet and not find any rust or Bondo, car has all original sheet metal. Interior was just redone about 3 months ago and looks perfect. New carpet, headliner, upholstery, door panels, seat belts, and window tint. All electrical works great as well. Has an aftermarket CD player and speakers that sound great. New alarm system with power door locks. As all other classic cars it is being sold in "AS IS" condition with no warranty implied or expressed with this sale. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding.
