This is a great van I had complete intentions of keeping for a long time. I would drive anywhere without hesitation. I am selling becasue I found another 70s dodge van I like better. I will be adding more pictures of the interior and underhood. This is awesome and One of a kind 70s love theme van. It is the only one like it in the world. 1978 Ford Van E100 Econoline , 351, automatic, and has 51k origional miles. I am the 3rd owner. Turn Key driver. Choke sets and Starts no problem in the recent 0 degree weather. There is no rust on the body, now or ever. Super clean. Mechanically starts runs and drives and stops great with no vibrations pulls shakes or shimmys. It drives tight and smooth and shifts with no issues. It's pretty quick too with the 351/5.8L engine. Belts, hoses, and battery are all newer. Brakes and rotors changed last summer. Shocks a few years back. The suspention and steering is tight as it only has 51k origional miles. All the doors open and close tightly as to be expected. All lights turn signals, wipers, heat, ect work as they should. No Rust or repairs ever. clean undercarrige and paint is is excellent condition. Has a alligator skin vinyl top installed but is coming up at the back, chrome hood and door hinges, chrome underhood also. (i will be uploading additional pictures this week). Tires are newer and have about 6-7k miles put on them. The Van was repainted some time ago but is in excellent condition.The interior is in excellent condition. The interior lights work. It is not coming up or stained and does not smell.4 captains chairs front seats swivel backwards. Rear seat is a bed, Interior has has Love is themes through out. little hearts painted here and there, stitched here and there. the side windows have "Love is" theme, hearts and such etched, all the door handles have a "Love is..." stamped into them. I would give the van a over all 9 out of 10, Pictures dont do justice. Faults: Paint crack/scratch in drivers door door. Exhaust is little throaty with side pipe exit (most people like the sound), No radio, but speakers are all wired up. Gas gauge work intermittently, but always starts working accuratly when the level gets low. There are a few paint chips here and there to be expected. There are monting holes from previous mirrors mounted, they were painted over, not closed up. The pictures just do not do it justice at all. This van gets tons of "thumbs up" attention everywhere from all types of people. Get in and drive anywhere. It does have A/C but icannot check if it's blowing cold air still but it did - its just 10 degrees out here in detroit so i cannot tell postiively.
