1972 Porsche 911T Targa Signal Yellow with Black Sport Seats What a joy to jump in a 39 year old Porsche that has been sitting since November, have it fire right up without a puff of smoke, warm it up for a few minutes with the hand throttle set at 1,100 rpm, shift into first gear and ease out of the driveway to find that it shifts into second gear without a hitch even when cold. After a few minutes of low speed motoring till the oil warms up a bit and then up to redline in first, second, third, and fourth and then slowing down considerably and shifting into fifth. The steering is tight, the shocks just right, the optional sway bars working in harmony, no shakes or judders over the railroad tracks, smooth and tight, just like it was 39 years ago. Strong, free reving engine runs right up to the rev limiter without a hitch. Mechanical Fuel injection working exactly as designed with a new belt. This car has just had the old and worn carpet completely removed, and is ready for a new carpet kit, the door sill trim is included. the door pockets have been taken off for repairs, and are included also. Nice original dash with a couple of small cracks, good clear gauges with just completed tach rebuild. This car has an old, poorly done paint job and will someday need to be restored to either it's original red or the color of your choice. As you can see from the underneath photos this car is rock solid structurally with solid jack points, floors, front pan and rockers. The perfect driver that needs some cosmetics only. Questions?
