We purchased this EXPLORER as a bank repossession and it is in needs of engine repair. The engine turns over fast but will not start. We have been told it could be a timing chain but have not has it professionally diagnosed. The body is in good condition with the exception of some surface rust at the edge of the hood ( seen in pictures ). The interior needs a light cleaning and shows average wear. CONDITION: EXTERIOR: The body looks good and straight and no major dents, scratches, or damage. There is some light surface rust at the front edge of the hood ( easily repaired ). Overall a good looking Explorer. INTERIOR: The interior shows light wear but overall is in good condition. The vinyl on the side of the drivers seat shows some wear but overall the rest on the interior is in good condition. DRIVETRAIN: DRIVETRAIN UNKNOWN. WILL NOT START OR RUN. MUST BE TRANSPORTED. We are selling this vehicle to be in need of repair. SHIPPING and PAYMENT: $500 non-refundable deposit due within 48 hours of the end of the auction.
