Very clean, completely rust-free, ONE-OWNER 1983 Jaguar XJ S H.E Sport Coupe. This is a very clean, straight California XJS Jag. It has lived all of its life in Los Altos Hills, and it had been in dry storage since 2005. It comes from a family Estate in Los Altos Hills, where it has resided since new and been in dry storage since 2005. The original V12 H.E engine is completely stock, never altered or modified in any way. Runs well, with excellent compression and no overheating or engine noises. The automatic transmission shifts very well into all forward and reverse gears, without chatter, slippage or hesitation. No differential noises. Brakes stop fine and right on the spot. No steering pulling or noises. The original bodywork is beautiful. The body is in EXCELLENT condition, with no rust, dents or accidents. Still retains its original British ivory finish which still glows like new. I believe it has been refinished once in the past, still in its original color. The interior's upholstery is in average condition, with some of the seams unstitched on the bottoms, as pictured. The leather is in very good shape nevertheless, for a Jaguar of this vintage. Perfect dash. Very nice, factory Jaguar alloy wheels, with nice radial tires ( with about 80% thread remaining). Overall, a very sound rust-free California Jaguar XJS, and an H.E to boot.
