Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is my 1972 Honda CB350f Cafe Racer. It is a beautiful cycle and runs absolutely amazing! Hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars invested into this Cafe Racer. I love the cycle, but want to build another Cafe before summer for my collection. The cycle has less than 100 miles since finished. Odometer reads just over 20K. Engine: The top end has been completely gone through and decarbonized, cleaned and checked for tolerances. Valves have been replaced and adjusted. New caps and plugs installed. New points installed. New cam chain installed New seal kit installed New gasket set installed. Motor cases have been completely polished including valve cover. Motor runs amazing. Carbs: Carbs were completely torn down, soaked, cleaned, and soda blasted inside and out. All new parts inside including O-rings, seals, jets, springs, needle and seats, etc. Tops, caps and bowls were completely polished. Vacuum tuned on the cycle. Jets have been switched to 85s but will include the 75s with the auction. New pod filters. Wheels; Almost new Avon tires front and back. Paint: PPG Vibrance Shamrock Green over Gold. Polished to a mirror finish. Brakes: Front and rear have about 60 miles on them. Front and rear Caliper and drum have been polished. Clubman Bars with New Progrips. All cables Lubricated. Swingarm bearing Serviced. Gas tank cleaned and lined. Rebuilt and polished petcock, with new filter and fuel lines. The cycle has cast chromed bullet turn signals front and rear, New chain (8 miles). Seat base and tail light are from Nostalgic Speed and Cycle. Tail light is old school glass with stainless trim. Battery is a deep cycle and has been relocated under the tail with a custom mount. Rear Sets are knurled and aluminum, custom welded brake arm was made for strength. Triple tree has been polished including lighting cluster. Front suspension was stripped, new fork seals, headlight mounts and forks were hand polished. Rear shocks are from a 1978 cb750f and polished. I am sure I am forgetting lots of stuff and keep in mind the cycle is from 1972 and is in amazing condition for its age, but not perfect. This cycle is Loud, Fast(for a 350f) and gets tons of attention. You will notice it has no seat. If you are the winning bidder I will have one made by a professional upholster before the bike ships. Included with the auction is the rear fender inner skirt, service stand, 75 size main jets and a 4 into 1 complete exhaust. I didn't install it because I like them loud. The cycle is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early. This is an auction so do not ask what my reserve price is, if I wanted to disclose it the auction would have a buy it now on the auction. Deposits are non refundable and please see the payment section before you bid. Feel free to call me with any questions@ 509-294-2261. Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. I will assist you any way I can to make this transaction as smooth as possible. On Feb-24-11 at 15:24:38 PST, seller added the following information:Thanks to all of you who did not ask me what my reserve was. The reserve is set at $3800. I figured it was time since its so close to it.
