Vehicle Detail
This isuzu amigo is a very strong and running vehicle. Does not leak any oil. This amigo has functional 4 wheel drive. In the winter time this vehicle refuses to get stuck or spin in the snow on the road, it has amazing traction in 4 wheel drive. It does have functional maual lock out hubs. It has brand new tires, new battery, 4 new skyjacker shocks, new master and slave cyclinder, it also has a new high flow air filter and a new alternator. I have also replaced the front right axle. rides very nice, clutch is in great shape, Trans shifts well, one of the easiest manual vehicles i have ever drove. All seats are in decent condition besides the little oil based paint spill on the back seat and small tear. dash is in great shape and all gauges work. this vehicle also has new sony speakers in the rear, it has a simple dash radio and AUX plug in, cord not included. The slave cyclinder in the engine compartment has a very slow leak. there are a few exterior rust spots and the rear cab has a few rust spots. Other than that the body is still holding strong, the clear coat is gone from the hood but the sides are still fine, with a few minor scratches. The plastic under the metal bumper has a crack in it. The A/C belt is non existant, A/C button does work to engage the A/C though. The heater works great but the fan does not work, i believe the wires are just loose because of its age, but the heater will heat up the whole cab quickly. I also believe that the last owner had on his discription that he had replaced the clutch and waterpump in 2007 so most of the engines extremities are new. The topper seals down just fine, a few snaps missing but the ones left work just fine, i rode in the summer with the snaps off for quick removal and it still sealed and stayed down on the highway. Rear tool box included empty. All seat belts also work just fine. Center drink and change holder included. The Amigo has a very responive 2.6 four cyclinder with plenty of power, breaks work just fine, emergency break works fine also. Summer time i usually got 22 mpg and winter around 17 mpg. I have used the best oil and additives when i changed my oil every 3000 miles since i got it. I have also used fuel additives that clean injectors every 3000 miles. The engine sounds like it could run forever. This engine is known for being one of the strongest/reliable 4 cyclinders made in 1989, the isuzu 2.6 engine's nick name was called the Iron Horse. I read a review on the 1989 isuzu amigo 4x4 and one owner said that he has over 400,000 with out any rebuilds. I would feel very comfortable taking this vehicle on long trips. This is a very fun vehicle, easy to drive, Starts right up and reliable for a daily driver! If there are any other questions feel fee to ask by email kravmaga7@hotmail.com
