Vehicle Detail

Up for auction we have a 1990 Chevrolet Beretta. It has a 2.2 Liter 4 cylinder with an automatic transmission. I bought this car in September of 2009 with 113,xxx miles on it and it now has 128,xxx miles on it. It is rough around the edges, but a good reliable car none the less. The Good Air conditioner has been retrofitted and blows COLD Has a new belt tensioner and belt, 10/09 New rear brake shoes and hardware 9/09 Plugs and Wires 9/09 Transmission Serviced 9/09 Gets 28mpg highway Drives Straight and Has Good Alignment All glass good New Stainless Steel Muffler 3/10 Exhaust System is Solid The Bad No catalytic converter (don't yell at me, it was like this when I bought it) Windows must be pulled up and down by hand, cranks do not work Bent/Floppy Drivers Side Mirror Interior is in need of a serious cleaning Steering column is loose (moves up and down about 2 inches) Ignition is broken (must reach inside column to shut car off) Drivers door leaks at top and has been poorly repaired with latex caulking Has a rough idle Trunk lock busted out (must be opened with screw driver) Body Damage on passenger side Front passenger tire has a slow leak Tires have 30ish percent tread left and none of them match. 6 lug nuts are missing with the studs broken off Interior dash and display lights do not function Cruise Control is non functional. Has been sitting approx. 6 months. I drove this car 15,000 miles sense I bought it and it has been good reliable transportation the whole time I drove her, she never once broke down or left me stranded. I parked it approx 6 months ago when I bought my truck and its been sitting sense. The transmission shifts smooth and firm, the fluid is still bright red and smells sweet, not burned. Their is no evidence in the oil cap of internal problems in the engine, no moisture or green goo (tale tale signs of headgasket or other internal failure) This car is worth $350 If I scrap it as is, thats not counting removal of the radiator, wiring harness etc. So I'm starting the bidding at $455, if I cannot get that out of it, it's not worth my time or trouble and I'll just let her go to the crusher. Please contact me with any questions or if you want more specific pictures of anything.
