Only 54,777 Original Miles! Top of the line Limited model! All features! Driven through high water & water got into the engine via the intake. Water Damage - TEXAS SALVAGE TITLE Before we get into the main description we'll knock out the car's history first. This car is a very nice and well kept example of a 2004 Chrysler Sebring Limited Convertible. As any Sebring owner should know driving through higher than normal water is not a good idea as the air intake for these cars is on the lower front of the car. Unfortunately the car's previous owner did not know that. During a rain storm the car was driven through some higher than normal water and water did get into the engine via the intake. The engine seized up as a result. The car was purchased by their insurance company and given a water damage salvage title here in Texas. The water appears to have only gotten in the engine as all the car's other features appear to work perfectly. It does not appear water got in the interior or any other part of the car, merely in the low lying intake. The engine would either need some internal engine work to unfreeze it or have a new engine installed. Unfortunately when it comes to purchasing, removing and reinstalling everything most if not all potential profit would be lost on our side in labor costs as we would have to pay to have this dine.
