Vehicle Detail
About a month and a half ago this car was brought into my shop just after the rear end collision. Originally the insurance adjuster wrote it up as a repair but the owner disputed and it wound up being written off as a total loss. The owner kept the car in the payoff and I subsequently purchased it to rebuild. My shop is currently extremely busy at this time and this car may sit around for 4 months or more. I am putting it up for sale just this one time. Very nice car to to repair. Hit straight on from behind. Could be pulled to save the Quarters. Will need trunk floor and rear panel and both lower rails, deck lid. All rear lights were not damaged, rear bumper needs work but could be repaired. All four doors open and close perfect. The car, forward of the quarters, is undamaged except for a small ding on the LR door and a couple of scratches on the front bumper. Car was never smoked in. Was owned by elderly couple in thier 80s. I drove the car this afternoon about ten miles and it drove perfectly and laser straight. No unusual noises or wind noise. There are no warning lights on except for the deck open light. There was no air bag deployment. The exhaust system looks undamaged. Rear glass is undamaged as is the glass frame. No suspension damage.Leather interior is excellent. Please call with any questions, I encourage anyone interested to come and inspect the car. Please perform your due diligence prior to commiting to purchase Office# 910-792-6263 / Cell 910-616-7792 Tom. On Feb-18-11 at 08:19:34 PST, seller added the following information: I am getting several questions regarding the 'clear' Title. I will try to clarify,, In North Carolina, because the car was paid off by the insurance company and the owner decides to keep it then sells it to someone in NC, when they re-title it in NC it will come back to them as a Salvage/Rebuilt . In NC it is required that the vehicle be inspected before and after the repairs. It will eventually ,when the paperwork gets caught up, show up on Carfax. I have no idea how it works in any other state. Please check with your local DMV to find out what your laws are pertaining to this vehicle. I have a clear title from the original owner that will be signed over by the original owner to whoever purchases it.
