This ALL STEEL '34 Coupe has been sitting , waiting for someone to "FRESHEN " it up for 50 plus years ! My father purchased it back in the '50's , & it sat in the garage all this time . He did get it running in 1999 , but he was killed in 2003. I had recieved it then , & don't have the time , energy or funds to finish restoring this beauty ! I did advertise it for sale on E-Bay before & had lots of interested parties , & the one who outbid everyone kept me hanging for a couple of months because of trying to get it into Australia was going to be a problem for him . He had purchased it for $32,500.00 , but again , had to back out ,which he was very disappointed . Several people have said this car is a true " Time Machine " ! It has a rebuilt flathead motor with less than 100 miles on it , it has " juice " brakes , a dropped front end , & the body is amazingly straight for it's age ! I see that there are a lot of " Coupes " on E-Bay for sale , but how many are a true , ALL STEEL body original !! I wish this car would go to a home that would truely cherish it like my Dad cherished it ! The car has some extra parts that will be included in the sale. There are an extra set of "59 AB" heads, 2 extra trans gear boxes, a 2 deuce edelbrock intake manifold, a radiator, a few interior door handles (cranks), emblems, etc.....I know that I'm on the top end of the asking price, but it's to seperate the serious from the "Looky Loos". I've had several offers that included trades, but I don't need any extra cars, I have 6 already, thank you anyway.
