Price Reduced:"BUY IT NOW" for $3,850.00 Up for grabs is my beautiful 1986 Cadillac Sedan DeVille. Truly "Grandma's Grocery Getter" I purchased this car in the summer of 2008 from the estate of an elderly woman, who owned this beauty since new. As her son put it"Mom only drove when she went to church, the store, and the pharmacy, and the occasional doctors appt." Considering this beauty only had 76k on it when I brought it home, I tend to believe him! I bought it on the spot and drove it home the same day (80 miles) I hate to part with it, but I recently had major surgery, and this illness has left the Caddy sitting. My Loss is Truly Your Gain. The Pictures Speak For Themselves I Think. Grandma's car needed some typical updates (it is an '86 Cadillac!) below is a list of what I've had professionally replaced by my local mechanic, a good friend who specializes in Cadillac Repair and formerly worked for a dealer before opening his own shop. *New Valve Cover/Oil Pan/Transmission Pan Gaskets Installed (Late '08) *Transmission Flushed and Filled With Premium Transmission Fluid (Late '08-same time as gasket) *New Master Controls for Power Windows/Fixed Motor on Passenger /Drivers Door (Late '08) *New Tires, BFGoodrich WhiteWalls (Mid 2009) *New Sears DieHard Battery (Mid 2009) *Totally Overhauled The Brake System-New Rotors and Pads, Lines, and System Completely Flushed (Early '09) *Grandma Never Used Air Conditioning-(hence the window motor failures)-so the Electronic Climate Control/AC System Was Rebuilt From The Ground up (at a cost of over $1,200.00) (Mid 2009) *New Water Pump/Belt Tensioner* (Summer '09) *Replaced Front Axles and Bushings* (Summer '09) *New Power Steering Pump (Late '09) *Replaced Rack and Pinion Gears (at a cost of $1,500.00, done in Late '09) *Replaced Winshield Wiper Motor/Fluid Pump (Early '10) *New Hood Latch* (Early '10) *Radiator Flushed and Filled (Once a Year) *Oil/Oil Filter/Air Filter Changed/Replaced Per Factory Recommendations (3 mo/3,000 miles) *Passed Virginia State Inspection This Month As far as looks, the Metallic Silver paint shines like new, the benefit of being waxed twice a year, and you can see this baby is covered in chrome...even the bumpers are solid chrome! Not a spot of rust anywhere either. I've always hand buffed every inch of it (the chrome, paint, EVERYTHING) Grandma had a garage, and I've always kept it covered with a nice car cover. It's never been driven in the winter either. This has mainly been my "Road Trip" Car, and i've taken MANY trips in it. If you've ever rode in a Caddy you know the "Air Ride" and "Auto Leveling Suspension" make it feel like you are floating on a cloud. It's the most luxurious ride you can imagine-no bumps! My last big trip was to Boston back in the Summer, and it went off without a hitch. I've also taken it down to North Carolina and to Pittsburgh on multiple occasions, and wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The interior is clad in Royal Blue Velour, and trust me, it's flawless. Look at the pics and see for yourself. It's even got the original floor mats, carpeted, in immaculate condition. Car has never been eaten or drank in, and NEVER been smoked in. Like I said, my loss is your gain, and I hope I can find someone who will love this car as much as I have. Price Reduced:"BUY IT NOW" for $3,850.00
