Ohh my look at this one. 2004 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police Interceptor with Pursuit Package. Slick top, no light bar, NIGHTTIME complete undercover unit. Yes it was only used at night according to the agency. The rubber weather stripping on the car feels like it's never been in the sun. Are those matching leather front seats looking like something out of a Mercury Marauder?? Yes it is. Honestly we were somewhat tempted to keep this unit for show purposes. Go Rhino push bumper, spotlight, BRAND NEW OEM Goodyear Eagle RSA's. Not brand new we got them a month ago, we mean BRAND NEW they have 3 miles on them. That is a $700 value, look it up. Police Kevlar lined trunk organizer. We could stop here with the description on this sexy car and it would suffice! Agency had to get rid of it over the year, 2004 is too old for their fleet, they did not want to let it go. We like to name our cars, we thought Black Ops Edition would fit this one. Mechanically in excellent condition. Engine and transmission run like the day it left the production line. Undercarriage is ABSOLUTELY spotless. Under the hood... spotless. Inside still smells new. Exterior just amazing. Car is 100% accident free. This car is a 100% Florida rust free. If you ever try to work on an up north car you know why this is so important. I bet I could pull the exhaust manifold bolts off this car without need of liquid wrench. Everything works as it should on the car. Cold A/C, all power options work. Back doors operational. eBay would not let me check off power seat, it does NOT have power seats. Spotlight works, super stealth tint, BRAND NEW TIRES. Pursuit Vehicle... I've only seen this twice. My understanding from Ford Fleet is it has higher progressive springs, 3.55 rear, slightly higher shift points, thicker sway bars and torsion bars. Took a long time and several calls to get an answer on this question because no one knows what it is, we didn't even know the first time we saw it. There is a noticeable difference in top end acceleration and swift turning. We really wanted to keep this one! The car is 100% ready to go, very intimidating and fun to drive. Now a bit of history; 2004 and newer P71's are the years to have. They are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes in the intake system. The P71 went from 239HP to 250HP in 2004 due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake system. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance. Also the 2004 was also the last year to use the mechanical throttle linkage, in 2005 it went to electronic throttle making 0-60 mph times considerably slower. In short, a 2004 is much quicker and will run circles around any previous, or later model year Police Interceptors. The 2004 is considered the "Best Year P71" look it up and do your research. It is set to be the most collectable and sought after once P71's are done in 2011. It is important to us to disclose any imperfections that may detract from the beauty of this automobile.
