I am relisting due to a no sale last go around. I have lowered my starting bid to 499. If it dos not sell this time I am taking her to the crusher. I will not relist it after this time. I have done some research and found that there is just about that much in scrap metal, sooooo this is a 1951 Packard 2 door Post Project Car. I bought this car on ebay and never got around to working on it. It is a great rat rod or full custom car or potential full restoration car. It has some rust issues in the body (see pictures) but almost all the repair panels are available on ebay for pretty resonable prices. The grill has a repairable crack and one door is removed ( I dont know why), but I have the door. When I got the car someone had already started disassembling the engine compartment and it looks like most if not all the parts are now in the trunk ( see pictures of all the parts laid out).There are also interior body parts in the trunk. I turned the engine over with a ratchet and it turns free. Thats all I can tell you about the engine. The head is still on the car but has been unbolted and it looks like they couldnt lift it off the block. I dont know anything about the condition of the transmission or the rear end. For the most part the car is complete but there are some missing parts. Basically if you dont see it in the pictures I dont have it. This is a project car and it needs serious work. I am available most mornings for an in person inspection which I strongly suggest before you bid. This is a bid to buy this car not look at it and I want it gone. I can store the car in its current location for a week or so if needed. If more time is needed we may be able to work something out. Once again this is a project with rust issues and I urge you to come see it before you bid. I bought this car and recieved NO paperwork and I am selling it that way. I have no paperwork and can not provide any with this car. My start price is low and reflects its value to me, hey where can you buy a 1950 anything 2 door for under a grand right?
