Up for sale is a 1941 Plymouth Business coupe with restoration started. This coupe is the most sound steel body I have ever seen. There are no visable dents or rust anywhere. All steel is sound and ready for stripping and primer. You will save thousands of dollars on the body work of this vehicle. The restoration that is done is as follows: 1-all new floor pans in inside and in trunk. Front floor pan has been modified for transmission housing 2-1974 Nova subframe installed. 3-All new rotors and calipers 4-rear end out of 66 Coronet installed 5-billet I -did-it steering column with tilt installed 6- 3/8 motor installed with 6000 miles on rebuild 7--boiled out gas tank 8- 727 auto transmission installed 9-new street rod wiring harness 10-new smooth steel firewall installed 11-new smooth steel running boards(not installed) This car is 100% complete with all chrome and stainless steel. I cannot emphasize enough the body condition of this coupe. It would cost 5000-7000 to do sheet metal work on most models that have rust. The frame and body have no rust. The car has its original seat and interior which will need redone. The above mentioned work and parts would cost at least 5000 which are completed. We have a clean Illinois title and can arrange storage for a reasonable time. The small issues on this car are a cracked driver glass which is flat and very affordable and a small scratch on the front passenger fender. To start engine buyer will need a new radiator and install wiring. The old radiator is included in the sale. The low reserve on this car is below the labor and parts that have been installed and does not include what it would cost to purchase such a solid body car. The car is in its original burgandy paint.
