2006 Corvette .. Z06 We have been a licensed Automobile Dealership for the past thirteen years in Philadelphia, PA. We are primarily in the automobile wholesale business selling to other dealerships at auction, and we are now listing select vehicles for sale to the public as well. This Corvette was acquired directly from the owner with a CLEAN title. He was a school teacher, and a Corvette Z06 was his dream car. He finally saved enough money and in September of 2009, he became the proud owner of this 2006 model with 9,200 miles. In the summer of 2010, he registered for Corvette track day to test his handling prowess at the famous road course at Watkins Glen. Unfortunately, his skills weren’t quite sharp enough to wheel a Z06 around some of the high speed sweepers. He lost it in a turn, overcorrected and ended up sliding on the roof. He walked away unharmed, but couldn’t say the same for his prize possession. The engine, some modules and electronics, and some of the interior pieces had been removed and sold. There are lots of miscellaneous parts in the back. The rolling chassis appears to be intact unharmed and I don’t see any frame damage. The body damage is primarily to the right side windshield pillar. To repair the body, you will need a hood, right front fender, windshield and targa top. The wheels are not damaged at all. Because the incident occurred on a track, he could not make an insurance claim. Of course there was no police report filed either. Therefore, the title for this Corvette is CLEAN. It is not a salvage title or a reconstructed title, and there are no liens or encumbrances. Furthermore, the Vehicle History Report is also clean because there were no accident reports or insurance claims filed on this car. The odometer was last showing 10,936 miles. WARRANTY: This vehicle will be sold AS-IS with no warranty expressed or implied by the seller. However, the buyer will be offered the option to purchase an additional Extended Service Warranty for all applicable vehicles. The title is guaranteed to be free and clear. We are not a retail dealership, so it is very important to coordinate your arrival with us before finalizing your plans. We are usually open from 9AM to 4PM weekdays, and are closed on weekends. We are approximately 15-minutes from Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), the Amtrak 30th Street Train Station, and the Greyhound Philadelphia Bus Station. REGISTRATION, TITLES & FEES: Out of state purchasers do not pay any Pennsylvania sales tax. A $60 fee will be added to the final sale price of each online transaction, which will cover document fees and preparation, notarizations, and courier costs. Temporary Transit Tags are available through the state of PA for $40, which will provide valid registration for a period of 30 days. In order to obtain this tag, please provide proof of insurance for any vehicle that you presently own. Titles are available to the buyer immediately upon full irrevocable payment, which is performed by bank wire transfer, cash in person, or certified personal check. Otherwise, the title will be sent to you after your payments have cleared our bank. Occasionally, a title is still being processed by the state and we will issue free temporary registration until the title is received. All vehicles we sell on eBay are stored in a separate secured facility and we require that all vehicles be picked up within ten days of auction completion. Storage charges after ten days will be charged at $15/day for cars, and more for trucks and larger vehicles depending on size. We will try to exercise some flexibility to accommodate special requests regarding our terms, if they are placed before the auction ends.
