This 1999 Chevy Z71 4WD is for sale by owner. I am the 2nd owner of this vehicle and have owned it since Jan of 2003. This is the Z71 package which just means it is fairly decked out 4WD, with heavy duty towing package, power everything. The engine runs great, never had any big mechanical issues with engine, transmission, 4WD, etc. A/C works great, tires look almost new, and those little hybrids practically wreck themselves trying to get out of your way :) Although this vehicle runs great and has never given me a bit of problems, it does have some flaws which are all documented below, but with NO MINIMUM BID and NO RESERVE you can't go wrong -- top bidder wins this vehicle no matter how low the price! Inspection is current through Feb of 2012.Lid for center console has big crack in top. Opens & shuts fine, just not real prettyFootball-size dent just behind headlight on driver side (see pics) -- no paint missing, just a dentLight hail damage on hood and roof (see pics -- roof is not pictured, but dents are similar to hood). Thanks to the grey color this is not very noticeable from distance.Cracked front windshield. This is one of those "all the way across the windshield" cracks. It does not hinder field of vision and does not keep it from passing inspection.This vehicle was rear-ended at some point before I owned it and the biggest sign of that is that the bed is kinked a bit. This does not keep tailgate from closing and is not visible at all from the outside. Only time I ever notice it is when it rains as it actually puddles a bit in one area of the bed. But the water goes right out the back of the bed just from the momentum of normal stop/start driving around.Back tail light area on driver side is a bit loose and has some scrape marks from parking too close to a brick column. All lights work just fine.Power mirrors work except that the "up" control does not. It means that when you need to change the mirrors you must put them higher than you want by hand and then you can do fine tuning of left/right and down using the electronic control.It burns about a quart of radiator coolant a month. To be clear, coolant does not leak on the ground at all, there are no "burning antifreeze" smells or anything else that would at all clue you in except that the "low coolant" light comes on eventually to let you know that you need to add some to the reservoir.NOTE: This item is a re-list from week or so back where winning bidder backed out sight unseen (e.g. not due to problem with the truck, just never communicated with me at all) Payment & Shipping No side-deals, please.
