I am auctioning this eye catching daily driver 1955 F250 Y-Block V8 Pickup for a friend. This truck has a clear Kansas title. This truck had been driven daily until 5years ago. It was recently rescued from a field and put in running/driving order. This is NOT a restoration. Body work was made using resin based fiberglass and painted with the intention of using this truck as a nice daily driver and errand runner conversation piece All cab glass is either cracked or broken except rear glass. The owner has replaced brakes with new master cylinder, wheel cylinders, and brake shoes. Four new 235X75X15 tires. There is no spare tire/wheel with this truck. There is a spare used windshield that goes with this truck. Both W/S wiper arms are included. All new hoses and belts have been installed. The charging/starter system has been converted to 12V alternator/ and new battery. New 12V headlights,signal and tail lights have been installed. The floor pad and rubber mats are new. The exhaust system is tight through a newly installed muffler. There is no tailpipe beyond the muffler. The motor appears to be original. It starts, runs and drives well. The transmission is original 4speed that operates smoothly in all gears. The clutch operates smoothly and does not slip. This truck is equiped with a functioning emergency hand brake. Fresh Sun Glow Cream Beige Alkyd Enamel paint is less than 30 days old. A new plywood bed floor was installed. The fuel tank was flushed of stale gasoline and does not leak. The carburetor was rebuilt by owner. A new dimmer switch as installed The front wheel bearings have been repacked. This truck is being sold "as is where is" with no warranty. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to provide transportation/shipping from its present location. The current owner will provide assistance in loading and coordination with shipper.
