For sale is my 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SL convertible with removable Hard Top and foldable Soft Top. This is an original California Car with Original Mileage on clock. I am the third owner Copper Poly red paint, looks great. The removable hard-top is black.Tan leather interior; car has been reupholstered before i acquired the car, seats still look great, very clean, no stains, rips, tears, etc. The previous owner also did a complete head and valve job, new seals, gaskets, etc. Also the 3- speed automatic transmission has a new rebuild, shifts very smoothly. Power Steering works, Power windows(both driver and passenger work), Air conditioning/ Heaters works good Exterior is in great condition, the paint looks really good in person. Interior is in great condition, like I said, interior has been reupholstered, maybe only 4 years old This car is in excellent running condition, V8 starts up and has a lot of power, does NOT overheat! I have put in a new distributor, 8 new Bosch spark plugs, new Bosch battery, radiator, auxiliary fan, and recently did an oil change. Chrome wheels still shine and are in excellent condition, no curb rash on any rim, good tires on all four rims, about 75-80% tread on all four. The spare tire is new. The previous owner also had put in an aftermarket Kenwood Headunit with Casette and a 6-CD Changer in the trunk.
