Vehicle Detail

I am selling this for a family friend. They are the original owners! Bought the car brand new and have had it in their possession since 1968! It is a 1969 Lincoln Continental Mark III in excellent condition, all original interior and exterior, never been renovated. It only has 67,173 original miles on the 460 cubic inch V8 engine. White leather interior, original am/fm radio, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, just had all fluids replaced last year, serviced, over $600 in maintenance. It even has AC which we think will need to be recharged, but it still works just fine. The original paint is still in very good to excellent condition, it has one small ding on the hood, which I tried to get a picture of, but should be something that can be easily fixed. Please email, please call, please ask questions, I want you to know everything about this great car. Always garage kept. Could be a great show car. Thanks for looking. On Feb-13-11 at 19:03:52 PST, seller added the following information: I've tried to answer all the questions personally, but here are some of the most popular ones I've gotten that I"ll answer for everyone else: 1. The power windows, doors, locks, seats in all directions all work great. Added power seats! 2. Still has original shocks and springs. 3. Never had a paint, job or any restoration done, everything is original 4. Headlight covers function properly 5. It does not have power mirrors, I may have listed that by mistake, there is only one side mirror and that is on the driver's side 6. The engine fires up right away, no blue smoke whatsoever, there is small amount of white smoke, but it goes right away 7. No play at all in the transmission This is an update as of 2/13. I did most of this listing by word of mouth with the owners, which happen to be in their 80's, but I did go and look at the car myself much closer today and found a couple other things they either did not know about or just didn't remember. First, there is one other small ding in the front right quarter panel panel, I added the picture to the auction. Second, on the driver's side door panel, there is a small 1" panel missing that holds a strap in place, I think the owner has it, but I'll have to double check, picture included. Third, I did find a small rust spot on the under side of the hood about the side of a .50 cent piece. There is also a little on a brace that is right below that, which serves as a battery brace I think, I've attached pictures for them as well, other than those 2 spots, there doesn't seem to be any other visible rust areas. Fourth, I did find that the passenger rear window needs "help" closing, it's not the power motor because it opens just fine, just when it closes it will not close on it's own. Not sure if there is a rubber wheel or something in there that moves the window that might need replaced, but the owner had no idea until today that was an issue. Please, if you send me any questions and would like pictures sent to you, please include your email address, it will save me the time of emailing you back asking for it. Thanks
