The bike was originally purchased in California on July 19th 1975 and I still hold all original paperwork including original registration. The second owner re-conditioned the bike for a quick profit performing tuning (including timing) and battery/tires replacement. I purchased the bike in April 2009 with the intention to restore it completely but after a year into the project I haven’t had the time to pursue. I have put ~250 miles on the bike since purchase. Bike has been stored in climate controlled garage and has not been used for the past 6 months. Bike starts (electric and kick) and runs. It will have to go through tune-up and sync. prior to take the road. I have restored the carburetors completely (including body) and replaced all jets (main, slow), holder needle jet, valves set float and gaskets with Honda NOS parts. I have restored the Master Cylinder and replaced throttle cables A&B. I have had the tank professionally cleaned and repainted and replaced the petcock, gas cap and fuel lines. The side covers have been restored as well. I have replaced air box intake boots, air filter and air box gasket. I have performed cam chain tension adjustment, timing adjustment and valve clearance adjustment. And oil change (including filter and gaskets replacements). I have replaced bulbs and blinkers' relay. The exhausts are good original HM341. The seat is original but top has been recovered nicely. There is slight pitting on the chrome (as seen in pictures); some rust under the fender. Electrical is working. The cylinders cover might have been repainted; there is one spot that is chipped (as seen in picture) Also part of the sale are the following NOS parts: Brake Pads, front brake bleeder and bleeder screw, right and left handlebar grips. I will also include one Clymer and other maintenance bulletins. Overall great condition for this 1975 CB K5; always stored inside climate controlled garage.
