2006 PORSCHE CAYMAN S in OUTSTANDING CONDITION For sale is a 2006 Porsche Cayman S. It is a very highly optioned example in Guards Red with Black Interior. $76K original MSRP. This Cayman S has had two owners since new. It has always been a California car and has an extremely low 12K original miles. It has never been in an accident, has no dings, dents or scratches. The interior and exterior and in beautiful condition as the photos show. It comes complete with all keys, books, original window sticker, service records, certificate of authenticity The car was first leased by a Google executive from Porsche of Stevens Creek, CA on 7/31/06. It was traded in 3 months later at Hummer of Silicon Valley. The second (current) owner purchased the car on 1/12/07 with 2K miles on it. The car has remained in a car collection in Harbor City, CA for the last 4 years. It has been mostly under a cover waiting to be driven. That didn't happen often as it was only used 10K miles in 4 years. PASM = Porsche Active Suspension Management: The optional PASM is an electronic damping control system. On the new Cayman models, the suspension has been tuned to match the increased power of the engine. PASM actively and continuously regulates the damping force for each wheel according to the road conditions and driving style. In addition, the suspension is lowered by 10 mm. The driver can select between two different modes: ‘Normal’ which is a blend of performance and comfort, and ‘Sport’ where the setup is much firmer. Depending on the mode selected, therefore, PASM is sportier or more comfortable than the standard chassis. The PASM control unit evaluates the driving conditions and modifies the damping force on each of the wheels in accordance with the selected mode. In ‘Sport’ mode, the suspension is set to a harder damper rating. On uneven roads, PASM immediately switches to a softer rating within the ‘Sport’ setup range, thereby improving contact between the wheels and the road. When the road surface improves, PASM automatically reverts to the original, harder rating. If ‘Normal’ mode is selected and the driver's style becomes more assertive, PASM automatically switches to a harder rating within the ‘Normal’ setup range. Damping becomes harder, and driving stability and road safety are increased. This vehicle has a clean history and clear California title. It has just been serviced at Newport Auto Center. You will have a hard time finding a nicer, better optioned Cayman S anywhere. It is being offered by a licensed California used car dealer.
