Vehicle Detail
Up for sale is a classic 1970 Dodge D200 pickup. This truck features a 318 V-8 engine, 727 automatic transmission, power brakes and heavy-duty Dana 60 rear end (4.10 ratio). Manual steering gear, manual windows, manual locks, not equipped with air. Everything on this truck is currently in working condition except the horn, which will need to be rewired, and the AM radio, which has been removed (wiring is in dash to replace). I have driven this truck for a few months, and it runs and drives great. I even drove it on the highway, and it had no problem keeping up at 60 miles per hour. This truck is built like a tank, and has no problem hauling a heavy load. It also has a heavy-duty homemade hitch with 2" ball. The previous owner added a 3/8" piece of plate steel in the bed, which greatly helps with traction. I replaced the battery in November of this year.As this is a 40+ year old truck, there are some issues. The body has rust in many places, including rust-thru in the front cowling and inner bedsides. The floorboards have been patched and are very solid. Overall, this is a good running and driving truck. If you are looking for a restoration project, this one would be well-suited. Use it on the farm, use it in town, or restore it back to its former glory. This truck is offered with NO RESERVE and WILL SELL REGARDLESS OF PRICE TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER. I just purchased a new truck and need more room in the driveway! Although I have listed this truck accurately and to my best knowledge, prospective buyers are encouraged to rely on their own judgment and inspection. Winning bidder to pay $200 deposit via Paypal within 48 hours, with balance due upon pick-up via cash or certified funds (or Paypal). Questions? Feel free to contact me for a quick response!
