Hi,I live in the hills of San Francisco.My van has been my furniture delivery and hauling vehicle for the last 5 years.I am in school and out of the business. This is a good tough Van.It is the E250, which is the half ton model. Much tougher than the 150 models. It has the, "bullet proof" 4.9 liter straight six for the engine.This is much less common than the 4.2 liter.Plenty of power, no need for gas hog V8.Does not leak or burn any oil and does not require top off between changes. I never have to add a quart. this engine is well known to be very good. This van comes with a smog check receipt.Transfer the title in 90 days in California and you will not have to do it again for almost two years.Smogged on 2/4/2011, yesterday. The title is clear and registered as commercial so it can park in yellow zones.Very big bonus in S.F.No games, title in hand. This is a rough around the edges vehicle.It has been painted by a variety of different street, "artists" This is very common on cargo vans in San Francisco. They get painted while you sleep.My "tags" are actually pretty cool and I get compliments on the art.The back has an actual image of the city skyline, which I do like. This van is ready to go. I had the brakes completely resurfaced and replaced in 2007.I did it at Midas and I have a life time warranty on parts, I will give you.Van still has good brakes and stops quickly now.I do oil changes every 5000 miles.It has a newer starter and battery and fuel pump all since I owned it.Those are the only repairs I have done in the 5 years I have had it.As I said, it is a strong truck for being 20 years old. Very limited rust on roof corners. No leaks.Everything works on the truck except there is no stereo.Has good speakers in the doors, but stereo was removed.All the normal stuff is ok like wipers lights signals. It has NO AC.It has a good working heater.It still has a nice full size spare with good tread.It also has the original jack and lug wrench. Transmission and rear end seem strong. The previous owner replaced transmission.I changed the rear end and transmission oil once.This was a company vehicle before I bought it. Tires are older, but you can still go a ways on them. They are hard compound snow tires.Very Strong type of tire, but older. Drivers seat is torn and I have a seat cover over it that is old too. If you need a place to sleep you can fit a full size bed for two between the wheel wells of this one.It has the long bed too. Van bed is 10 feet long.For burning man you can fit a double bed, your bike, and supplies with ease for two.These vans get more expensive as you get closer to the event. I used this van to do household dump runs and furniture deliveries for $.Comes with a tire wedge for super steep SF hills.I will even through in an extention cord and jumper cables. This is a good van for someone who just needs a cheap basic work horse or place to sleep.You could use it for your rock band too.It is not fancy by any means. Stock Cargo model. Never had seats in the back.I have a couple of furniture blankets I use in the back and makes it nice. You can have those too. Single gas tank and it runs on normal gas. Weird stuff-Sometimes the light flashes on the dash for air bag. I do not know why.Once a month or so the van will beep like door ajar, when doors are closed. This van will start on the first try right away cold.No worries.I bet you could take it across America on a road, camping adventure. I hope you win it.Feel free to email questions.
